Unni Hermansen
- I am a tango festival organizor and teacher and I have danced tango since 1996. My background is from gymnastics, ashtangayoga, modern dance and 5 rhythm dance seminars.
- I have travelled noumerous times to Europe and to Buenos Aires for knowledge and inspiration. My inspiration among the female dancers and teachers are Moira Castallano and Eugenia Parrilla. Both for their dancing abilities and for their personal qualities when they teach.
- I am a fan of El Corte in Nijmegen and I admire their work!
- From 2001 to 2008 i ran Kampen Tango in Oslo and hosted more than 500 milongas and 12 festivals.
- For the time being I host Milonga Social, teach and give private lessons at the beautiful Arkitektenes Hus (The Arkitecht's house) in Oslo.
- My motivation to teach is my fondness for the oportunities that argentine tango gives, to express creativity, playfulness and sincerety. I wish to share what I know about the tango movement language and how to achieve the feeling of flow and connectedness by mastering a good technique. I really enjoy teaching "the grammar" of the movement language tango, and it gives me great pleasure to see dancer's faces lighting up with joy when their dancing "works".
- I have been invited to teach in Norway, Switzerland, Holland, Italy, Sweden and England. For the time being I teach private- and group lessons in Oslo and like being invited to teach abroad.
